Spoiler warning: Full spoilers for Episodes 1 through 4 below.
Episode 1 — The Champion and the Monster
Gun-woo’s life looks good. He’s a rising boxing star, Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) is his coach and best friend, and his mom So-yeon runs a cozy café. They’re a family now — loud mornings, bad breath jokes, and all.
Then comes the championship fight. Gun-woo faces Adik Belov, a cocky Uzbek boxer who slaps him at the weigh-in. Adik dominates round one, but Gun-woo rallies in round two, spots Adik’s bleeding eye — and pulls his punch. He wins in round three with a clean body shot to the ribs. No cheap moves. That’s who Gun-woo is.
Meanwhile, the real threat walks in. Im Baek-jeong (Rain) arrives in Korea with his right-hand man Sergeant Yun Tae-geom (Chansung) and tech wizard Allen. After the public match, Baek-jeong forces Adik into his underground boxing ring — the IKFC (Iron Knuckle Fighting Championship) — to pay off a debt. He doesn’t just beat Adik. He kills him. And when someone tries to harvest Adik’s organs, Tae-geom slits the man’s throat instead. These people aren’t playing around.
Baek-jeong shows up at Gun-woo’s house that night. The offer: fight in IKFC, earn 10x your current pay. Mom shuts it down. The boys force them to leave. But Baek-jeong doesn’t take no for an answer. He sends masked fighters to kidnap So-yeon. Gun-woo and Woo-jin fight them off in a brutal house brawl, but as the attackers flee in a van, Tae-geom detonates it from an alley. No loose ends.

Episode 2 — Everyone Becomes a Target
Gun-woo moves his mom, Woo-jin, and hacker friend Tae-yeong (Park Ye-ni) to a safe apartment. Tae-yeong digs into the dark web and finds the IKFC’s website — live-streamed fights, massive betting pools, the whole operation.
Woo-jin reaches out to his Marine Corps buddy Mr. Moon Gwang-mu for a mule card to access the IKFC site. But Sergeant Yun has been tailing them. Gwang-mu spots the tail and tries to trap Yun, but Yun is ex-special forces — he fights dirty and slashes Woo-jin’s wrists with a knife.
Backup fighters arrive. Gun-woo races to the scene and destroys them, but Woo-jin and Gwang-mu are both badly injured. Meanwhile, Baek-jeong escalates: he breaks Kang In-beom — the villain from Season 1 — out of prison. A fake seizure, a hijacked ambulance, and a brutal beating later, In-beom is now working for Baek-jeong.
The message is clear: refuse IKFC, and everyone around Gun-woo pays the price.
Episode 3 — The Walls Close In
Gun-woo calls his mom from the hospital, breaking down. He blames himself for everyone getting hurt and nearly agrees to fight for Baek-jeong just to end it. So-yeon talks him back from the edge.
The crew regroups. Police Chief Min Gang-yong (Choi Young-joon) joins the effort. CEO Hong Min-beom (Choi Siwon) hides So-yeon at a private hotel. Tae-yeong discovers IKFC has already posted an AI-generated poster of Gun-woo’s upcoming match — without his consent. She also finds the video of Baek-jeong killing Adik.
But Allen hacks back. He sends a virus to Tae-yeong’s laptop, and their safe location gets compromised again.
On the streets, things get worse. Detective Gyeong-won, who’d been investigating the case, gets stabbed in broad daylight before he can meet Gang-yong. Gun-woo chases the attacker but loses him. Gyeong-won dies on the spot.
The episode ends with the darkest move yet: Baek-jeong’s fixer Mr. Lee kidnaps Min-beom’s assistant Won-yeong’s sister, tortures her to get Gun-woo’s location, and then sends a woman to drug Min-beom at a bar.
Episode 4 — No Way Out
Min-beom wakes up in the hospital after being drugged. He’s furious and scared — Baek-jeong got to him despite all his money and connections. This is when the rich chaebol CEO finally understands what Gun-woo and Woo-jin have been dealing with.
The team’s options are running out. Baek-jeong gets arrested by Gang-yong when he attempts yet another kidnapping of So-yeon, but the victory is short-lived. Mr. Lee pulls strings, and Baek-jeong walks free almost immediately. Gang-yong ends up severely injured in the process, and Gwang-mu takes another beating.
Gun-woo watches his people fall one by one. Woo-jin’s arms are slashed. Gwang-mu is hospitalized again. Gang-yong is down. Min-beom was drugged. His mom can’t sleep. Everyone who’s tried to help him has gotten hurt.
So Gun-woo makes a decision: he’ll fight.
Not because he’s given up. Because he’s decided the only way to end this is to step into the ring and finish Baek-jeong himself. Woo-jin doesn’t fight him on it this time — he just says, “Then I’m fighting too.”
The episode closes with the two of them sitting in the gym at 3 AM, wrapping their hands in silence. No pep talks. No promises. Just two brothers getting ready for war.

What to Expect in Episodes 5–7
The second half gets even more intense. Min-beom crafts a plan to lure Baek-jeong into a final match. Woo-jin fights Baek-jeong first to weaken his vision, and Gun-woo faces both In-beom and Baek-jeong back-to-back. A fan-favorite character dies. And the post-credits scene? It practically screams Season 3.
